Mets News & Notes
We don’t have the full line-up yet, but we’ve gotten an update on the team from Anthony Reiber of New York Newsday (click here for the post):
- David Wright will not be in today’s line-up, so if you’re in a daily league and have a replacement, you may want to. Damian Easley will be the 3B and hit third in the line-up.
- The Mets are also about to make a deal, sending Anderson Hernandez to the Nationals for Luis Ayala. Ayala is 1-8 with a 5.77 ERA and 1.47 WHIP, so it’s not like he’s going to be an upgrade over what the Mets have out there, though Hernandez is also no loss there (though I could see him being promoted immediately for the Nationals). Pretty much a non-factor for fantasy owners here.
