Roto Prof. I’m looking forward to your new guide as always I plan on purchasing it however I was wondering whether you could include a keeper function in your AIL only auction values specifically so that one can calculate the values based upon the amount of keeper value held from season to season thank you
good idea, i agree
i was wondering what do you think of draft software, does it help and anybody you really like for it——–thanks
Got my draft guide in my email this morning…….Love it!
If Betts qualified at 2B (which he does in Yahoo leagues), where would he slot in those rankings?
He’d be #8.
He didn’t play 20 games at 2B, which is why he’s not in there. If your league requires 10 games, he is eligible though
Love the guide as well! So much better than the magazine versions. Can I pre-order for 2016 yet….?
Ha! Again, to everyone, the support is very much appreciated!! As for pre-ordering the 2016 guide, not yet but maybe soon 🙂
Love the guide and reading the insight on each player. I’m going to ask a keeper question. I can keep 8 players for as long as I care to with no penalty.
I know I’m keeping:
1. Abreu
2. Rendon
3. Donaldson
4. Billy Hamilton
5. George Springer
6. Chris Sale
I’m struggling which one to let walk out of Starlin Castro, Chris Davis, and Bogaerts. I had liked the idea of two shorties in a weak position (and Crush burned me last year) but everyone seems to be souring on Castro.
Thanks Corey and I appreciate the support!
I would keep Davis, as I do think that he’s due for a bounce back and power is at a premium. As for Castro/Bogaerts, it really is a counflip but I’d say Bogaerts has a higher overall upside.
It’s not that I’m down on Castro, but he doesn’t bring big power or big speed. Without either, it’s hard to envision him as a potentially elite option.
Thanks for the input. One more keeper question. Different league. Again no limits or penalties for keepers.
Darvish for $15 or Harvey for $1?
How long are the prices good for? If it’s past this season I’d go Harvey. Even for this season it’s close, but I may lean Darvish thanks to the limits Harvey could face and the significant number of matchups against the Astros (would it be surprising to see Darvish average 12 K in those starts?!?!?!
It is past this season and we use K/BB in this league.
I love Darvish, but there’s risk there and if you have Harvey locked in at $1 not just for ’15, but beyond I’d have to go with him
Hi Eric: Haven’t yet received the draft guide. Hope it’s just an oversight and I am still on the list to receive the guide.
charlie, I apologize if you haven’t received it yet. A few people thought they had ordered it and actually hadn’t. Shoot me an e-mail when you get a chance and we will get this resolved ASAP!
Thanks for your support and I hope that you enjoy the guide!!
Hey Eric, I just ordered your guide through Paypal and am looking forward to receiving it. I have scooped up a couple others as I am going back and forth as to which keepers to keep (We keep 5 in a 12 man head to head league) heading into this year. I won it all last year. Here is my roster and who I plan to keep. Before checking out my final roster from 2014 below here is who I plan to keep: Goldy, Desmond, Gordon, Kluber and Max.
That would mean I keep no OF’s but have solid position players (1B, 2B, and SS) and 2 SP’s in my rotation. OF is deep and feel I can fill those spots with decent guys in the draft similar to last years OF. I am really only up in the air about keeping Dee Gordon (primarily want him for his speed to win SB’s weekly) over a better bat like an Adrian Gonzalez, but let me know your thoughts on everything. Let me know what you think, it is greatly appreciated and I look forward to use your insight as my primary information going forward for all my fantasy needs!!
C- Mesoraco
1B – Goldschimdt
2B – Dee Gordon
SS – Ian Desmond
3B – Todd Frazier
OF – Starling Marter
OF – Brett Gardner
OF – Torii Hunter
Util – Adrian Gonzalez
Util – Brian McCann
BN – Sandoval
SP – Corey Kluber
SP – Max Scherzer
RP – Cody Allen
RP – Santiago Casilla
P – James Shields
P – Lance Lynn
P – Tanaka
P – Jacob deGrom
BN – Collin McHugh
By the way: It is a 6 by 6 League in terms of H2H Categories should that help in your analysis
Hitting: R, HR, RBI, SB’s, Total Bases, Avg
Pitching: W, SV, K’s, ERA, WHIP, Quality Starts
I know Gordon gives you an edge in the SB department, but I’d lean towards Marte over him (as well as deGrom, though I wouldn’t keep three SP).
That said, for me, I’d lock up Frazier with Goldschmidt & Desmond as the three bats.
Hey Professor. Great guide. Appreciate the detailed projections. Allows me to sort on Wins, K, SB’s, etc. Thanks for the good work.
Not familiar with your guide, but have used your guidance in the past and am looking to purchase this year. Does it tier positional players?
Yes sir it does! Thanks for the support and if there’s anything I can do to help just let me know~
Will do. Ordering now. Thank you.
When’s the next update? Thank you!
Should be waiting in your e-mail now 🙂 Hope you enjoy and thanks for the support!
Hello, I would like to purchase the draft guide for my baseball draft I have tomorrow (3/22/15). I was wondering if I ordered it tonight, how long until I would receive it by e-mail??
Occasionally there’s a small lag, but generally you should get it fairly quickly.
I appreciate the support and, if you order the guide, I hope you find it helpful!
