Bullpen Notes: April 24, 2016: Concerns For Familia?!, McGee’s Implosion & More

Are you following @Rotoprofessor on Twitter? If not you should be, as we Tweet out all the important bullpen notes every morning from the previous day’s games. Who is in jeopardy of losing their job? Who is worth the speculative add? Here are this morning tweets (Please note we won’t be posting these on the website every day, so make sure you follow @Rotoprofessor to ensure you don’t miss a thing):

  1. George sherman says:

Any speculation if Bailey could get the closer gig in philly?

    • Rotoprofessor says:

Tha is one of the uglier bullpens in the league, so it’s possible. That said I’d be gambling on Neris first right now.

  2. Big Mike says:

In a holds league, I’m thinking about dropping Clay Buchholz and picking up David Phelps. Phelps has good peripherals, has SP eligibility, and seems to be the primary set-up man for Ramos (who I also have). And Buchholz seems like a disaster. Thoughts?

    • Rotoprofessor says:

Not terrible, but I wouldn’t be grabbing Phelps thinking that he’s going to get SV opps

      • Big Mike says:

It would be for the holds (and the peripherals). I already have Ramos. My other SP are Scherzer, Kluber, Matz, Ventura and Shields, and I’m thinking that Buchholz is going to be dead weight.

  3. Sam says:

Standard 5×5… Drop Nate Jones for Sam Dyson?
