Hi Prof, I need to drop someone to pick up a 2B while Travis is out. Would you drop Neris, J Wilson, Maeda, or W contreras? My other CL are Robertson, Ramos, and Knebel. Other catcher is Realmuto. 10 team redraft league. TIA

    • Rotoprofessor says:

In a 10-team league I would probably drop Contreras. Still don’t want to drop a current closer, even though both Neris & Wilson are on shaky ground right now

      • Alex says:

Yup, Contreras all the way. Realmuto is fine, and even he gets injured you will likely find a Contreras type on the wire, if not Contreras himself.

You may also want to consider trading one or two of your closers to see if you can get an upgrade somewhere. A 10 team league likely has stacked lineups everywhere, but making offers first is better than dropping saves.

  2. Trevor says:

I have Holland, Iglesias, Knoebel, Glover and Hand.
Was offered Pollock for Iglesias and Cargo. I need steals badly and Pollock hopefully be back in 2 weeks. I this trade worth it?

    • Rotoprofessor says:

It’s a fair deal, but with Hand out of SV mix (seemingly) & Glover hardly set in the role, could ultimately leave you somewhat short (though Holland/Knebel should suffice). If you are comfortable in SV & only utilizing 2, it’s worth making the move
