Are you following @Rotoprofessor on Twitter? If not you should be, as we Tweet out all the important bullpen notes every morning from the previous day’s games. Who is in jeopardy of losing their job? Who is worth the speculative add? Here are this morning tweets (Please note we won’t be posting these on the website every day, so make sure you follow @Rotoprofessor to ensure you don’t miss a thing):
CWS: Soria implodes against the Astros (2 R/3 H/2 BB/0.1 IP) for 3rd BSV of season. Of course it was his 1st BSV since 5/1 and the 1st ER he allowed since 5/18. Frustrating outing, but he’ll remain “the man” for now #MLB #FantasyBaseball #closers

TEX: Kela wasn’t dominant (1 R/2 H/1 K) but ultimately earned SV. His job obviously isn’t at risk, as he’s a perfect 21-for-21 in SV opps, but there’s a good chance he’s traded. Diekman pitched 8th, but likely a committee approach if move made #MLB #FantasyBaseball #closers

SEA: It feels like Diaz gets a SV every day, doesn’t it? He locked down #34 yesterday w/perfect IP (3 K). He’s already thrown 46.0 innings, so there’s the risk of fatigue, but that’s not an issue as of today #MLB #FantasyBaseball #closers

WAS: Doolittle got into a little trouble, but ultimately locked it down (2 H/2 K). He just keeps rolling along & is clearly one of the elite closers in the game today #MLB #FantasyBaseball #closers

MIN: Rodney bounces back from pair of BSV w/perfect IP (2 K). Not that there was any risk of losing his role, but it’s nice to see none the less #MLB #FantasyBaseball #closers

SD: Just a ho hum SV for Hand (1 H/3 K), who is a locked in Top 10 option. There is going to be trade rumors, but it’s a long shot that he’s dealt ahead of the deadline. #MLB #FantasyBaseball #closers

ATL: Winkler struggled (3 R/3 H/2 K/1.0 IP) to let game get out of hand. Meaningless in the scheme of things, though he’s shown when things go bad they really go bad (he’s allowed 2+ ER in 3 of past 9). #MLB #FantasyBaseball #closers

MIA: Conley had been settling into his bullpen transition, but took a huge step backwards yesterday (0.2 IP/5 R/2 H/4 BB). It’s just 1 outing, but he’s allowed HR in 2 of 5 & that needs to be watched closely #MLB #FantasyBaseball #closers
