Bullpen Notes: July 10, 2018: Outlook for Houston & Baltimore, Allen’s Epic Implosion & More

Are you following @Rotoprofessor on Twitter? If not you should be, as we Tweet out all the important bullpen notes every morning from the previous day’s games. Who is in jeopardy of losing their job? Who is worth the speculative add? Here are this morning tweets (Please note we won’t be posting these on the website every day, so make sure you follow @Rotoprofessor to ensure you don’t miss a thing):

  1. Killebrews says:

Just not so sure Astros use resources to acquire a closer prior to deadline. Their pen is already tremendous and Rondons skills have been better than all but a handful of relievers this year, and he has prior closing experience. Not sure who they could get that would be better?

    • Rotoprofessor says:

They have 11 blown saves and I don’t know that they feel Rondon is someone to trust into the post season. I wouldn’t be surprised to see them get a Britton type (or maybe Familia, not that he’s a trustworthy option)

  2. Larry says:

Yates entered the game last night in the ninth inning, 3-run lead, and struck out the only batter he faced, which was the last out of the game. Shouldn’t he be credited with a Save for that?

  3. larry womack says:

Would you rather have W. Smith or Serathony for save potential for ROS? Thank you.
