Are you following @Rotoprofessor on Twitter? If not you should be, as we Tweet out all the important bullpen notes every morning from the previous day’s games. Who is in jeopardy of losing their job? Who is worth the speculative add? Here are this morning tweets (Please note we won’t be posting these on the website every day, so make sure you follow @Rotoprofessor to ensure you don’t miss a thing):
WAS: Talk about an implosion, Madson had an epic BSV (4 R/2 H/2 HBP/0.2 IP) as he allowed a walkoff grand slam. Now comes talk that he's suffering a back injury of his own, so go and stash Glover as he could already be next up #MLB #FantasyBaseball #closers

BOS: Kimbrel didn't give up a run but allows 1 H/1 BB/3 K. Over past 7.1 IP has allowed 6 R/8 H/6 BB so there's obviously reason to be concerned despite recent strikeout surge (12 K over past five appearances) #MLB #FantasyBaseball #closers

TOR: Interesting to see Giles earn SV (perfect IP/1 K). It appears team is going to give him opportunity to seize role, but does anyone trust him? Entering having allowed 7 ER over 3.2 IP so need to see a lot more before believing #MLB #FantasyBaseball #closers

HOU: Rondon takes BSV (1 R/1 H) before Osuna takes L (1 R/2 H). Not that 1 BSV would've been enough to cause change, especially with the rope Rondon should've built up at this point. Stay the course #MLB #FantasyBaseball #closers

CLE: Allen forced into SV opp after bullpen nearly melts down & gets job done (1 H/2 K/0.2 IP). While Hand continues to loom, it appears that Allen is again holding the role (but both should be owned just in case) #MLB #FantasyBaseball #closers
— Rotoprofessor (@Rotoprofessor) August 13, 2018
COL: Davis bounces back w/solid outing to earn W (1 BB). Obviously no one is going to get overly excited over this one outing, but at least it gives a glimmer of hope… #MLB #FantasyBaseball #closers
— Rotoprofessor (@Rotoprofessor) August 13, 2018
DET: Jimenez allows HR (1 R/2 H) while Greene lights out for SV (perfect IP/2 K). Not that there was a question, but clear Greene is locked into role at this time (always chance want to look at Jimenez for '19) #MLB #FantasyBaseball #closers
— Rotoprofessor (@Rotoprofessor) August 13, 2018
NYM: Gsellman works the 8th (1 H) & Lugo gets the SV (2 H). Does anyone really want to try and figure out this mess? It's a hands off situation, and likely will be the rest of the season #MLB #FantasyBaseball #closers
— Rotoprofessor (@Rotoprofessor) August 13, 2018
SF: After back-to-back rough outings Smith bounces back strong (perfect IP/2 K/SV). While some will speculate Strickland will return to role, hard to imagine w/way Smith has pitched overall #MLB #FantasyBaseball #closers
— Rotoprofessor (@Rotoprofessor) August 13, 2018
ATL: Minter continues to rebound from recent BSV (1 H/2 K) to earn 10th SV. Appears he's locked into role (despite Brach & others) & it's possible that he could keep it even if/when Vizcaino returns #MLB #FantasyBaseball #closers
— Rotoprofessor (@Rotoprofessor) August 13, 2018
SEA: Diaz gets yet another SV (1 H/2 K) working his 4th straight day. He's simply had an amazing season and isn't showing any sign of slowing down #MLB #FantasyBaseball #closers
— Rotoprofessor (@Rotoprofessor) August 13, 2018
OAK: The A's have bolstered their bullpen, but no one is unseating Treinen (perfect IP/3 K). He's emerged as one of the elite & there's no reason to think that anything is going to change #MLB #FantasyBaseball #closers
— Rotoprofessor (@Rotoprofessor) August 13, 2018
BAL: Givens allows 2 R/3 H/2 K over 1.2 IP but all of the damage came in his second inning of work. No cause for concern (outside of limited opps in Baltimore), as his role is safe & he's looked good in SV opps overall #MLB #FantasyBaseball #closers

Would you hold Leclerc this week or lose him for Glover?
I have Kimbrel, Vasquez, Hand, Yates and Strop as well.
I’m holding. Glover, if he’s even the guy, is only a 1-2 week fill in
Would you rather have Glover or Giles rostered in the coming weeks.
If your sole objective is saves, I’d gamble on Giles. Even if Glover is given a shot, it’s only a week or two until Doolittle returns and slides right back into the closers role.
