Anderson had worked back-to-back days, so that may be why he wasn’t deployed yesterday. The previous night (Tuesday) Anderson worked the bottom of the 9th with a 4 run lead, after the Angels’ offence had tacked on a run in the top of the inning. I’m guessing Anderson would have been the choice for the save if the offence hadn’t scored that insurance run. On the other hand, Parker had himself pitched two days in a row heading into Tuesday, so that may be why Anderson got the call. It’s kind of hard to get a read on the situation, as the Angels just haven’t been generating very many save opportunities lately. But I wouldn’t be surprised if Anderson get the opportunity if one arises tonight, as Parker has now worked 3 out of the last 4 days.

It wouldn’t surprise me either, and I have Anderson stashed in as many leagues as I can. He has the potential to run with the role whenever the opportunity is given to him
