It’s been a few days since we’ve done one of these, so let’s take a look:
2010 Projection:
.285 (157-550), 24 HR, 85 RBI, 90 R, 6 SB, .320 BABIP, .359 OBP, .502 SLG
Now, your clues:
- He is eligible at more than one position
- He is 25-years old or older
- He does not play in the AL West
Do you know who this is? Let’s hear your guesses!

Sounds like Kevin Youkilis.
Oops… I see you already made a prediction on Kevin.
How about Ben Zobrist?
Victor Martinez?
Michael Cuddyer?
Nick Swisher?
Gordon Beckham?
Clueless, except for the clues that you gave. I’ll guess Cuddyer as well.
Youk has never had an OBP below .380 – it’s not him.
V Mart has a grand total of 2 stolen bases in his entire career. It ain’t him.
Nick Swisher bat .285? Don’t make me laugh.
Zobrist – not a bad guess, although I’d guess that he’ll steal more bases than 6.
My guess is also Cuddyer, although I think the BA is a little high.
JORGE CANTU
Ian Stewart?

Jhonny Damon
Congrats to those who guessed Michael Cuddyer. Here’s the write-up from the guide:
“How will the new ballpark in Minnesota play? If we could answer that question, we would have a much better idea as to how good he could potentially be (he had 18 HR at home in ’09 vs. 14 on the road). He’s never shown the potential to be a 30+ HR hitter, so look for a sizable decrease there.”
Miguel Tejada?
