    I think Cristhian Martinez got send down to AAA to clear a roster spot for Jair.

    @Erik F
    he did

  3. Allen says:

    A. Laroche, B. Butler, and J. Loney all available on the wire. What are your thoughts on these guys moving forward to be used as utility/back up. Laroche is a second half guy but will he outproduce these other guys across the board in that D-Back lineup?

  4. Rotoprofessor says:

    Allen, it’s Billy Butler all the way. I know Laroche is a second half player, but Butler showed significantly more power after the break last year as well (13 of his 21). He’s hitting .322 with 8 HR, 42 RBI and 40 R on the year already, so reaching 25 HR, 100 RBI and 90-95 R would be very realistic.

    He shouldn’t be on the waiver wire in any format, so if he is, don’t hesitate.
