RotoProfessor Basketball Looking For Writers

by Will Overton

At RotoProfessor we are always seeking to pump out the best content that we possibly can and of course the more content that is quality the better. As part of that we are looking to expand our coverage of basketball by adding more writers into the mix.

If you are an avid fantasy basketball fan with a bit of skill in the writing department this could be a fun and new experience for you. This would be on a volunteer basis, but it’s a great chance to get some experience and exposure writing for a blog that continues to grow in readership.

If you are interested in writing for RotoProfessor Basketball send me an e-mail at and tell me a bit about yourself and what interests you as far as writing goes. I look forward to hearing from you and adding to the team and to our depth of coverage.

by Will Overton

We’ve not seen as much action this week as expected, but it should be picking up today with the trade deadline now less than 10 hours away. Despite the lack of trades so far there has been plenty of rumors flying around and so today could still be a very big day.

We will have plenty of coverage of the deals that actually happen today, but right now we’re going to prepare for what to watch for with today’s biggest storylines for fantasy impact: Read more

Handicapping All-Star Weekend: Slam Dunk Contest and Three Point Shootout Predictions

by Will Overton

I know that all-star weekend festivities don’t really have any kind of an impact on fantasy basketball. You don’t get fantasy points if your guy wins one of the contests or is the MVP of the all-star game. Still, I love all-star weekend and I know a lot of other basketball fans do too.

So with that in mind and because I’m just really excited about it, I’m going to handicap the three-point contest and the dunk contest for you. I know there are more activities going on, but the dunk contest and three-point shootout are the big ones and the ones I think everyone is most interested in.

For those who into the betting side of things I have included the odds for each contest in the contests for you. Read more
