Four Point Play: Highlighting DFS Targets For 12/1/16

by Will Overton

Tonight’s slate is a little bit smaller than last night, but the talent pool is very top heavy with a number of strong choices. In just the six games being played there are six players with a price tag over $9,000. That means you need to make the right choice on who to play from the top and who to grab for some savings to afford those top choices. I’m going to give you a few of the guys I particularly like tonight for DFS games:

Giannis Antetokounmpo –PG – Milwaukee Bucks @ Brooklyn Nets
There will be a game or two in which I find room for James Harden, because I really do think he blows up tonight on the Warriors in a potential statement game. That said, I am bumping down a couple grand in most games and rolling with Giannis Antetokounmpo instead. The Greek Freak has been on fire lately, dropping 50 point fantasy games like it’s nothing. Giannis is taking on the Brooklyn Nets tonight and that is a prime matchup for him to showcase his game and further establish himself as one of the elite in fantasy basketball.

Sean Kilpatrick – SG – Brooklyn Nets vs. Milwaukee Bucks
On the other side of the floor from Giannis is Sean Kilpatrick who I am also on board with, despite the fact that his price tag has been bumped up to $5,800. Kilpatrick has been on fire in the last four games Kilpatrick is averaging 24.3 PPG with 2.5 3PG, as well as having 14 REBS in one game, 7 ASTS in another game and some defensive showings too. Kilpatrick may be highly owned tonight coming off a 59.5 fantasy point game, so in GPP it might make sense to pivot off him, but in cash games I will have a lot of exposure.

JaMychal Green – PF – Memphis Grizzlies vs. Orlando Magic
I had him as a key play earlier this week against the Charlotte Hornets and that flopped pretty big when he put up a total of 11.3 fantasy points. I’m not backing down though from Green and I’m going back to the well with him again tonight. All indications are that Zach Randolph won’t be back with the team yet tonight, and even if he is Green should see around 30 minutes. Green is always a threat for a double-double and that should be the case again here tonight.

Bonus Notes For The Night

  • If I am going to pivot off from Sean Kilpatrick in GPP’s, one of the guys I will be looking at will be Evan Fournier. The Magic are a tough team to get a handle on, but the one guy on the team whose minutes don’t seem to change an always seems to be a big scoring threat is Fournier. The wing is hit or miss at times, but he can easily go off for 50 fantasy points on any given night.
  • You will want to watch and make sure the Mavericks are going to play him in back to back nights, but if he’s playing Deron Williams is coming in at a really nice $4,000 price tag. Williams has been slowly building up his playing time since returning from injury and played a full game last night. Williams looked really good last night against the Spurs and if playing tonight will hopefully be able to keep that momentum.
