- Shaquille O’Neal sat out of his team’s matchup with the 76ers last night. His 38 year-old body is simply going to take longer to heal than he’s used to. This isn’t going to threaten his status for the remainder of the season, but it does show how protective the Celtics’ staff is going to be of him. If there’s even a whisper that he won’t play, be ready to substitute for him on your fantasy team.
- Nothing truly out of the ordinary happened in the Boston-Philadelphia matchup last night. Rajon Rondo scored 19 to go along with his 14 assists. His point total was really the most noticeable thing. The game was a lot more interesting than the actual stats.
- Dwight Howard had the best night of anyone in the league last night: 39 points and 15 rebounds. The man is a monster.
