Are you following @Rotoprofessor on Twitter? If not you should be, as we Tweet out all the important bullpen notes every morning from the previous day’s games. Who is in jeopardy of losing their job? Who is worth the speculative add? Here are this morning tweets (Please note we won’t be posting these on the website every day, so make sure you follow @Rotoprofessor to ensure you don’t miss a thing):
PHI: Neris allow HR but gets SV (1 R/1 H/1 K). He's now allowed R in 4 of past 5 appearances & his hold on job could slip away. Morgan against worked 8th & appears to be likely next up until some of the others get healthy & return to team #MLB #FantasyBaseball #closers

STL: Brebbia works 8th & Miller gets SV (1 H/1 K). The first two hitters were LH so was this a matchup play or is Martinez losing role? Latter had worked 2 straight (4 of 5) so likely unavailable but recent struggles could be leading to a committee #MLB #FantasyBaseball #closers

SF: Smith works scoreless 10th but it wasn't pretty (2 H/1 BB). That's back-to-back poor appearances, though it has no bearing on his role. With the Giants surging, it's also no longer a given that he's moved at the deadline anymore #MLB #FantasyBaseball #closers

MIN: Rogers gets final 6 outs (2 H/1 K) for SV. We'll have to watch his usage, as he's been used for at least 6 outs in 3 of past 4 appearances. That could ultimately cost him opportunities, but for now he needs to be considered "the man" #MLB #FantasyBaseball #closers

NYM: Diaz used for 10th in tie game & delivered strong appearance (1 BB/1 K). He hasn't had clean IP among them, but 4 straight scoreless gives a sense of optimism that he's starting to turn things around. He's a CL1, but not the elite he was in '18 #MLB #FantasyBaseball #closers

MIA: Romo impressive in perfect IP (2 K) & hasn't allowed a R in 8 straight appearances. There's going to be trade speculation, but unless the team wants to turn things over to someone like Anderson (2.0 IP/1 H/5 K) not enough return to justify deal #MLB #FantasyBaseball #closers

KC: Working for 3rd time in 4 days (5th time in 7 days) Kennedy stumbled but got SV (1 R/2 H/1 BB/1 K). Obviously it's been a heavy workload so keep that in mind. The only way he loses role right now is if he's traded, and that's a long shot #MLB #FantasyBaseball #closers

TOR: Not that there was a question, but Biagini being summoned in 9th w/team trailing 5-0 solidifies that he's not in consideration to close. It's Hudson's role if Giles is traded or needs to go back on the IL, making him a must stash in all formats #MLB #FantasyBaseball #closers

CLE: Hand locks down impressive 4 out SV (1 H/4 K). Remember the speculation that he could be dealt ahead of the deadline? Forget it, he's locked in as one of the elite and that's not about to change #MLB #FantasyBaseball #closers

RP:
Just a thought, but couldn’t Taylor’s use be indicative of a team shooing for a new closer. Perhaps
They’re just readying Taylor for being the 2/3 guy.
It wouldn’t shock me if they acquired a closer prior to the deadline, but I wouldn’t consider it a given either. Time will tell, but it will certainly be interesting to see how it plays out
