Are you following @Rotoprofessor on Twitter? If not you should be, as we Tweet out all the important bullpen notes every morning from the previous day’s games. Who is in jeopardy of losing their job? Who is worth the speculative add? Here are this morning tweets (Please note we won’t be posting these on the website every day, so make sure you follow @Rotoprofessor to ensure you don’t miss a thing):
SEA: After impressive start to season Strickland implodes (0.1 IP/3 R/2 H/1 HBP) as he gave up HR to Moreland. Talk of potential shoulder issue so don’t be surprised if a trip to the DL is coming (Gearrin could be next up) #MLB #FantasyBaseball #closers

BOS: Barnes first shot at SV was impressive (perfect IP/2 K). There are lots of questions about the bullpen but he has the stuff to quickly emerge as a trustworthy option #MLB #FantasyBaseball #closers

ARI: There are obviously questions about Holland and his ability to hold the job, but he excelled in his first opportunity (perfect IP w/2 K). Make the most of it while you can w/Hirano & Bradley both alternatives #MLB #FantasyBaseball #closers

MIA: Both Conley (1.0 IP/1 R/2 H) & Romo (0.1 IP/4 R/3 H/1 BB) struggled, w/latter being used in 9th in non-SV. Steckenrider was best of trio (1 BB in 1.0 IP) & good bet to get 1st SV opp after this one #MLB #FantasyBaseball #closers

STL: It was non-SV but Cardinals deployed Reyes (7th), Miller (8th) & Hicks (9th). Latter put up an impressive perfect IP (2 K) & could emerge as a Top 10 option in short order #MLB #FantasyBaseball #closers

TB: Alvarado gets SV, though makes it interesting (1 H/1 BB/1 K). It will be interesting to see if Castillo rises into role but team may want to keep him “flexible” (2.0 IP/0 R/2 H/1 K). Still worth stashing #MLB #FantasyBaseball #closers

SD: Pitching back-to-back days Yates made it interesting but ultimately locked down 2nd SV (1.0 IP/0 R/1 H/1 BB/2 K). Obviously this is of no concern as he’s among the best options #MLB #FantasyBaseball #closers

LAD: Baez & Kelly combined to blow the lead for the Dodgers (2.0 IP, 4 ER, 3 H, 2 BB). Not a good sign, though at least Jansen came in and pitched a perfect inning in a non-SV (1 K) #MLB #FantasyBaseball #closers
