Are you following @Rotoprofessor on Twitter? If not you should be, as we Tweet out all the important bullpen notes every morning from the previous day’s games. Who is in jeopardy of losing their job? Who is worth the speculative add? Here are this morning tweets (Please note we won’t be posting these on the website every day, so make sure you follow @Rotoprofessor to ensure you don’t miss a thing):
HOU: Osuna made it interesting, allowing 2 ER (on 2 HR) on 3 H in his inning, He still got the SV, but has now allowed runs in three straight appearances (5 ER over 3.0 IP). It's not enough to remove him, but Pressly is laying in wait #MLB #FantasyBaseball #closers

BAL: In first opp after Givens was removed from role it was Armstrong who got the shot & delivered (1 K/1 BB). Could he potentially run with the role? Perhaps, but 6 BB/2 HR over 11.0 IP isn't a good combination & he's no guarantee #MLB #FantasyBaseball #closers

TEX: Just when you think Leclerc is destined to return to the closers role he has a small step backwards (2 R/2 H/2 K over 0.2 IP). It may slow him, though cramping may have been issue, but it's just a matter of time before he's back getting SV #MLB #FantasyBaseball #closers

MIN: Taylor takes a BSV in 8th w/ugly outing (2 R/3 H/1 BB/1.1 IP), his 2nd BSV in his past 4 outings (though 1st R allowed since 04/21). He has just 1 SV over the past week so it would appear this is Parker's job outright at this point #MLB #FantasyBaseball #closers

MIA: Another solid outing for Romo, who tossed a perfect inning en route to SV. He's now worked 3 straight perfect IP, though does that make you comfortable? With a 4.26 ERA & 1.32 WHIP he feels like a disaster in waiting (though safe for now) #MLB #FantasyBaseball #closers

PIT: Vazquez gets 4 out SV, but wasn't pretty (1 R/2 H/2 K). He's now allowed runs in 2 of his past 3, though it's obviously of no concern. He's among the better options in the league & will remain as such #MLB #FantasyBaseball #closers

LAD: Jansen picks up 5 out SV (1 H/3 K) to earn 15th SV. He's had some stumbles along the way but overall he's looked almost like his former self (32 K vs. 5 BB). As long as he keeps the ball in the ballpark (4 HR) he's at Top 10 option #MLB #FantasyBaseball #closers

MIL: It wasn't clean (2 H/1 BB), but Hader converts 6 out SV (2 K). More telling was Jeffress being used in 5th (1 H/1 BB/0.1 IP) & Guerra in 6th (1 BB/2 K), making this clearly a 1 man show for the time being #MLB #FantasyBaseball #closers
— Rotoprofessor (@Rotoprofessor) May 28, 2019
NYY: Chapman delivers another SV, but more interesting may be Britton in 8th (1 K) after Kahnle worked 7th (2 K). We now Britton is currently the next up, but could Kahnle be quickly moving up the depth chart (1.64 ERA, 0.77 WHIP, 32 K)? #MLB #FantasyBaseball #closers

OAK: Treinen does job to lock down SV (1 H/2 K). He's not the pitcher he was last season, though no one should've expected it, but he remains one of the better options in the league #MLB #FantasyBaseball #closers

Although Romo may be a disaster in waiting, the guys behind him are outright disasters. At least the Marlins look like they’ll get a halfway decent prospect for him when they trade him. Woe be to he/she who gambles on Marlins saves then…
