Are you following @Rotoprofessor on Twitter? If not you should be, as we Tweet out all the important bullpen notes every morning from the previous day’s games. Who is in jeopardy of losing their job? Who is worth the speculative add? Here are this morning tweets (Please note we won’t be posting these on the website every day, so make sure you follow @Rotoprofessor to ensure you don’t miss a thing):
MIN: Parker struggles in 8th (2 R/3 H) & May (1 R/1 H/0.2 IP) gets lifted before earning final out (Harper called on). This situation just got a little messier. Parker remains the favorite, but do you want to trust him after this outing? #MLB #FantasyBaseball #closers

BOS: An epic implosion overall w/Walden (0.1 IP/2 R/2 H/1 BB) & Brasier (3 R/2 H/1 BB w/o getting an out) leading the way. Workman/Banes both looked good & could be favorites for next opp. That said it's a muddy situation to avoid #MLB #FantasyBaseball #closers

TB: Castillo gets unimpressive SV (1 R/2 H), but most notable performance was from Pagan (2.0 IP/1 H/3 K). That said anyone really want to predict who gets the next opp? Castillo/Pagan/Alvarado all candidates & impossible to trust any of them #MLB #FantasyBaseball #closers

COL: Don't read into Bettis getting the 6 out SV, because after Rockies added on in the 8th there wouldn't have been a SV opp afterward. Oberg remains the favorite for SV, at least for now, until Davis returns from the IL #MLB #FantasyBaseball #closers

PHI: Interesting to see Dominguez work as the primary setup man (perfect 1.1 IP w/1 K) ahead of Neris (2 K/SV). It'll be interesting to see how things play out, but we all know Dominguez' potential & he's regaining trust. Worth stashing to see #MLB #FantasyBaseball #closers

LAA: Allen (0.2 IP/1 H/2 K) works 7th, Buttrey (1.1 IP/2 BB/3 K) gets 8th & Robles earns SV (1 BB). This appears to be where the bullpen stands currently, making Robles a strong option to play moving forward #MLB #FantasyBaseball #closers

SD: Another day, another SV for Yates who is up to 21 SV to go along with a 1.08 ERA. He's emerged as the elite and he's on pace for a record breaking campaign. Will the Padres give him enough opps to get there, though? #MLB #FantasyBaseball #closers
— Rotoprofessor (@Rotoprofessor) May 29, 2019
DET: Jimenez (1 BB/2 K) & Greene (1 K) again do the job. You have to wonder if Greene will be traded at some point, leaving Jimenez to get an opportunity, though that's hardly a given. Keep an eye on the sit just in case #MLB #FantasyBaseball #closers

WAS: A much needed rebound from Doolittle (1 H/3 K for the SV). That said is anyone really concerned about his handle on the role? This is one of the clearest situations, as long as he's healthy, because the rest of the bullpen is in shambles #MLB #FantasyBaseball #closers
— Rotoprofessor (@Rotoprofessor) May 29, 2019
HOU: Osuna rebounds from 3 straight rough outings (perfect IP/1 K). It's just 1.0 inning, but was there ever a "real" concern about him? He's locked into the role & he should remain in the role as long as he's healthy #MLB #FantasyBaseball #closers
— Rotoprofessor (@Rotoprofessor) May 29, 2019
CWS: Colome continues to roll, with a perfect IP (2 K) to earn his 10th SV to go along with a 1.66 ERA. Of course it's hard to envision him maintaining a 0.55 WHIP & 20 K over 21.2 IP won't excite you, but there's impressive value all the same #MLB #FantasyBaseball #closers
— Rotoprofessor (@Rotoprofessor) May 29, 2019
CLE: Hand gets SV (1 H/1 BB/3 K), and while Wittgren stumbled ahead of him (2 R/3 H) he remains the favorite as the next up should Hand need a day off #MLB #FantasyBaseball #closers

I pretty much hate saves this season. Thoughts on when Kimbrel might get signed, and when he would be ready to pitch?
He’ll sign next week, right after the draft. If he’s in shape, it should only take 1-2 weeks
RP: Minor editorial comment. ON Minny comment, it wasn’t May, but Taylor who followed Parker.
Thanks!!
