Are you following @Rotoprofessor on Twitter? If not you should be, as we Tweet out all the important bullpen notes every morning from the previous day’s games. Who is in jeopardy of losing their job? Who is worth the speculative add? Here are this morning tweets (Please note we won’t be posting these on the website every day, so make sure you follow @Rotoprofessor to ensure you don’t miss a thing):
LAD: We keep saying Jansen isn't the closer he once was, and after an epic meltdown in non-SV (5 H/5 R w/o getting out) that hasn't been more evident. He's now allowed 8 R in past 2 outings and you have to wonder if role is in jeopardy #MLB #FantasyBaseball #closers

PHI: Called on early in the game Workman stumbles yet again (1 R/3 H/1 BB/1 K/1.0 IP). That's back-to-back ugly performances and it would appear that he's out as the closer for now. Maybe Neris gets the next opp? Time will tell #MLB #FantasyBaseball #closers

TOR: Giles is back, but it was Dolis who earned SV (1 BB/1 K). For now it would appear that Dolis will continue in role, while Giles works his way back into the 9th. Keep the former for now, and it's possible he's locked into role for rest of year #MLB #FantasyBaseball #closers

MIL: Hader entered w/2 R lead and he had epic implosion (4 R/4 H/1 K) as he allowed a pair of HR. It's his second stumble in his past 3 and 3rd in past 6. Obviously he's still among the elite, though there's starting to be reason for concern #MLB #FantasyBaseball #closers

TB: Anderson works 8th (1 K) ahead of Castillo, who earned SV (1 H/2 K). These are the two names to own, though depending on either for SV is a little bit risky. TB is going to go with a committee approach and that's not likely to change #MLB #FantasyBaseball #closers

CHC: Kimbrel earns SV?!?!? It wasn't clean (2 H) and was likely only because Jeffress had worked in 3 of 4 days. There's little reason to think that change is coming, though worth keeping Kimbrel on radars #MLB #FantasyBaseball #closers

LAA: Andriese earns extra inning SV, though is he really favorite for opps? Buttrey got the W (1 BB/1 K) while Mayers was impressive before him (2.0 IP/2 K). This is a wide open situation, though one to avoid if possible #MLB #FantasyBaseball #closers

KC: Holland rolls for SV (1 K), but more important there could be change in primary setup man:
— Rotoprofessor (@Rotoprofessor) September 13, 2020
– Staumont (7th) – 2 H
– Barlow (8th) – 2 H/1 R/1 K
Holland is locked in, but could Staumont become the primary setup man? #MLB #FantasyBaseball #closers
TEX: Montero w/SV after perfect IP while Hernandez works as primary setup man (1 H/2 K). That's the pecking order, for now, w/Hernandez worth stashing as handcuff should Montero stumble over the next two weeks #MLB #FantasyBaseball #closers

ATL: After Greene stumbled in 8th (1 R/2 H/2 K/0.2 IP), Melancon ultimately gets ugly SV (2 H/1 BB/1 K). The latter is locked into role, and the stumble shouldn't impact Greene's status as next up if needed #MLB #FantasyBaseball #closers

BAL: Harvey took the L in extra innings, allowing 1 R despite not allowing a H or BB. He's now allowed R in back-to-back outings, though this one can be excused. He has closer of the future upside, though it's unlikely to come in '20 #MLB #FantasyBaseball #closers
— Rotoprofessor (@Rotoprofessor) September 13, 2020
HOU: Pressly picks up another SV (2 H/1 K). Obviously he's locked into role and that's unlikely to change over final two weeks #MLB #FantasyBaseball #closers
