Nothing like the fantasy football season coming to a close on Christmas Day. If you want a nice Christmas present for yourself, then these rankings may help get you there. With a few injuries at the top we have some shake up, but this is how I see it all breaking down:

  1. Keenan Allen – Los Angeles Chargers @ NY Jets
  2. DeAndre Hopkins – Houston Texans vs. Pittsburgh
  3. Michael Thomas – New Orleans Saints vs. Atlanta
  4. Julio Jones – Atlanta Falcons @ New Orleans
  5. Adam Thielen – Minnesota Vikings @ Green Bay
  6. Tyreek Hill – Kansas City Chiefs vs. Miami Read more

Start ‘Em or Sit ‘Em (2017): Week 15: Derek Carr, Alshon Jeffery, Greg Olsen & More

by Will Overton

Trying to decide who you should start or sit this week? Let’s take a look at a few potential decisions owners have and try to sort through them:

Quarterbacks
Start – Kirk Cousins – Washington Redskins vs. Arizona
The Washington Redskins season is over and it could be easy to say they’ll be mailing it in. However Kirk Cousins still has a pretty good reason to be going all out right now, and that’s his upcoming free agency. He is still looking to lock down a huge contract at the end of the season and certainly will still be looking for big numbers to pad his stats. The Cardinals have Patrick Peterson, but the secondary outside of him has been very bad and I expect Cousins to expose them this week in a pass heavy attack. Read more

Playoff time is here and this is the week you have to have the best lineup possible for your team (obviously).  Who should we be trusting?  Who should we be skeptical about? To help answer those questions and give yourself the best opportunity, let’s get to breaking down the Top 50 Wide Receivers of the week:

  1. Antonio Brown – Pittsburgh Steelers vs. New England
  2. Keenan Allen – Los Angeles Chargers @ Kansas City
  3. Julio Jones – Atlanta Falcons @ Tampa Bay
  4. Michael Thomas – New Orleans Saints vs. NY Jets
  5. A.J. Green – Cincinnati Bengals @ Minnesota
  6. Adam Thielen – Minnesota Vikings vs. Cincinnati

Waiver Worthy: Week 14 Fallout: Blake Bortles, Rod Smith & More

by Will Overton

You should either already be in your playoffs or starting them this week. Either way, unless you are in a dynasty league you should be making waiver wire moves based solely on what is happening for that player this week, without worrying about the future. There is no more long term thinking, it’s win or go home time.

With this in mind, let’s take a look at some options you can add that may be able to help you out this week:

Blake Bortles – QB, Jacksonville Jaguars
There may not be much more terrifying of a thought than using Blake Bortles in a playoff matchup, but that may be a reality you need to face. Week 14 saw Carson Wentz and Josh McCown say goodbye to the rest of their seasons and if you are scrambling for a QB, the options owned in less than 50% of leagues isn’t great. Read more

Start ‘Em or Sit ‘Em (2017): Week 14: Tyrod Taylor, Kareem Hunt, Stefon Diggs & More

by Will Overton

Trying to decide who you should start or sit this week? Let’s take a look at a few potential decisions owners have and try to sort through them:

Quarterbacks
Start –Josh McCown – New York Jets @ Denver
Sometimes matchups are all about timing, and the timing for McCown this week seems just right. He is on a roll after a huge game against the Chiefs last week. Meanwhile, the Broncos have been a tough team to go against this season but the wheels seem to be falling off, given they allowed 35 points last week to Miami. The Jets are pretty content being a pass heavy offense right now and McCown should keep piling up the fantasy points. Read more

Waiver Worthy: Week 12 Fallout: Rod Smith, O.J. Howard, J.D. McKissic & More

by Will Overton

This could be the last week before the playoffs start in your league, which means all hands on deck. Unless you are in a dynasty league, if you are making moves on the waiver wire it’s because you are looking for someone to play, so making the right move means everything. Here is my rundown of the waiver wire featured players after Week 12:

J.D. McKissic – RB, Seattle Seahawks
At some point in time the Seahawks have to realize that Eddie Lacy and Thomas Rawls are absolutely, terrible right? I expected to see the flashy young J.D. McKissic more involved in the run game this past week, only to have to endure carry after carry from Lacy (who went nowhere with the opportunities). Meanwhile McKissic, who is averaging 4.5 YPC, continues to be used as a third down back almost exclusively. I am hoping the Seahawks see the light and make this change but there is no guarantee, which means most of McKissic’s value is still in the pass catching game. Read more

Start ‘Em or Sit ‘Em (2017): Week 12: Marcus Mariota, Michael Crabtree, Greg Olsen & More

by Will Overton

Trying to decide who you should start or sit this week? Let’s take a look at a few potential decisions owners have and try to sort through them:

Quarterbacks
Start –Matt Ryan – Atlanta Falcons vs. Tampa Bay
Matt Ryan has not been a must start this season the way we all expected. That said, this week I really don’t think you can bench him unless you have one of the elite. After throwing just one TD in five of his first six games, Ryan has thrown two TD in each of his last four games with only two INT in those games. Meanwhile, the Buccaneers pass defense is one of the worst in the league (in about one half of play last week Matt Moore racked up over 250 yards). Ryan should finish this week as a top 5 QB.
