Do you have what it takes? Are you an avid football fan and reader of the site? If so, do you want to square off against the RotoProfessor staff this season?

For the 2016 season, we will be running two reader leagues where you get to compete against myself, the RotoProfessor and Will Overton. Below you will find the details of each league. Competitors will be granted access on a first come, first serve basis. Both leagues will be hosted on ESPN and will be live drafts.

League One:

  • 16 teams
  • Half point PPR
  • Snake Draft
  • QB/RB/RB/WR/WR/TE/Flex/Flex/Def/K/6 bench
  • Wednesday September 7th, 8pm EST

League Two:

  • 12 teams
  • Half point PPR
  • Auction Draft with $200 cap
  • QB/RB/RB/WR/WR/WR/TE/Flex/Def/K/6 bench
  • Tuesday August 30th, 8pm EST

RotoProfessor Fantasy Football League Year 3: Signups Are Officially Open!

It’s that time once again to get things rolling for the RotoProfessor Readers and Writers Fantasy Football League. This will be our third year and each of the first two years it has proven to be a competitive and fun league for all who have been involved.

If you’re looking for a challenge a bit bigger than the one you get with your friends then step up and take on the RotoProfessor staff and other loyal readers who are just as hardcore about fantasy football as you are.

Signing up for league is easy. If you’re up for the challenge all you have to do is shoot an e-mail to will.overton85@gmail.com with your name, e-mail address and why you want to be in the league. You also have to be willing to commit to being available for the draft on Thursday August 27 at 8:00 PM EST. With a league like this we want a full draft room and no autopilots.

Pre-Order The Rotoprofessor 2015 Fantasy Baseball Draft Guide For $6!

It’s that time of year…  It’s time to start discussing the Rotoprofessor 2015 Fantasy Baseball Draft Guide!!!  The guide is currently available for pre-order for just $6.

The first improvement to the 2015 version of the guide, as we will be projecting FIP and LOB% (strand rate) for all pitchers!  It’s just a little bit more information to help you prepare and dominate your league this year.

Like in past years, the guide will first be released between January 1 and January 15 (I will know a more solid date as we get closer) and you will then receive updates about every two-to-three weeks from the release date until the start of the season. Week 11 Observations & Musings: A Look Around the League

Those expecting a Travis Kelce breakout were surely disappointed, which has been a continuing trend all season. It seems Andy Reid just doesn’t want to comply with the wishes of fantasy owners! So far the story has been a maddening lack of usage, but with Anthony Fasano sidelined Sunday, many expected Kelce to finally get the targets and opportunity to become a bona fide TE1. Instead we saw a run-heavy approach by the Chiefs resulting in another dominant Jamaal Charles performance. Bottom line: If you’re not already, get used to Kelce as a boom-or-bust pick every week. By the way, who else remembers Charles carrying fantasy teams late last season? Giddy up.

Welcome To Our 2014 Regular Season Coverage!

That’s right, as of today we are going to be full steam ahead towards Week 1 coverage.  We will kick off our weekly rankings with our Top 25 quarterbacks this morning, as well as all of the other great features (Start/Sit, Streaming Defenses, etc.)!

We hope that everyone had great drafts and are ready to dominate, but if you need some help in bolstering your lineup or if it’s just tough decisions on your weekly lineup, let the Rotoprofessor staff help you!  We appreciate your support and couldn’t do this without you!
