Those expecting a Travis Kelce breakout were surely disappointed, which has been a continuing trend all season. It seems Andy Reid just doesn’t want to comply with the wishes of fantasy owners! So far the story has been a maddening lack of usage, but with Anthony Fasano sidelined Sunday, many expected Kelce to finally get the targets and opportunity to become a bona fide TE1. Instead we saw a run-heavy approach by the Chiefs resulting in another dominant Jamaal Charles performance. Bottom line: If you’re not already, get used to Kelce as a boom-or-bust pick every week. By the way, who else remembers Charles carrying fantasy teams late last season? Giddy up.
That’s right, as of today we are going to be full steam ahead towards Week 1 coverage. We will kick off our weekly rankings with our Top 25 quarterbacks this morning, as well as all of the other great features (Start/Sit, Streaming Defenses, etc.)!
We hope that everyone had great drafts and are ready to dominate, but if you need some help in bolstering your lineup or if it’s just tough decisions on your weekly lineup, let the Rotoprofessor staff help you! We appreciate your support and couldn’t do this without you!
Good luck to everyone and let’s get rolling towards 2014 Fantasy Football success!
The first of August is nearing and that means Fantasy Football Season is upon us. Last season we launched our first ever RotoProfessor Readers League and it was a huge success. We had such a great response last season that we are looking to step it up in year two and have three leagues so that more of our readers can participate. Each league will feature at least one if not more writers from the RotoProfessor staff as well as a number of readers.
We will have one standard league, one PPR league and one IDP league which will feature 0.5 PPR as well.
If you want to participate in one of these leagues all you need to do is send me an e-mail at email@example.com and reserve your spot today. In the e-mail I need your full name, e-mail address and a brief one or two sentence explanation for why you want to complete in one of the leagues. I also need you to specify your league preference by ranking your preferred league to play in 1 – 3 with 1 being the league you’d most want to compete and 3 being the league you’d least like to compete in.
So get on it and start signing up now!

Baseball season is in championship mode, football is starting up, and now guess what, basketball is right around the corner! Once again RotoProfessor will be pulling triple duty this season and our basketball coverage is quickly approaching. The basketball site will launch it’s 2013 – 2014 season coverage on Monday, September 5th.
In addition to the beginning of our coverage we will also be releasing our first ever RotoProfessor Fantasy Basketball Guide. The guide will include position rankings, top 200 rankings, keeper league rankings, projections for over 250 players and more. We will be releasing more details on this as the time draws closer, but keep an eye out for that.
With the excitement of basketball season and our desire to bring you the most comprehensive and thorough coverage possible, we are looking for a few quality writers who are interested in contributing to the RotoProfessor Basketball team this season. If you think you’d be interested in doing some writing about fantasy basketball this season send me an e-mail at will.overton85@gmail and we can discuss details.
Our first ever RotoProfessor Fantasy Football League is still open and accepting applications. This is going to be a 16 team deep league so we’re looking for committed and knowledgeable owners.
The draft is going to be this coming Thursday at 8:30 PM EST. Please don’t apply if you can’t make the draft as in a league this deep being at the draft is a necessity.
We still have five slots open currently so hurry up and get your application in to firstname.lastname@example.org. Slots are going to the first ones who e-mail in.
This year the staff of RotoProfessor has decided that we are going to do our first ever RotoProfessor Writers and Readers Fantasy Football League. We are looking for 13 dedicated and fantasy savvy readers to join the three of us writers in a true battle of fantasy supremacy. We aren’t looking for part time owners, we’re looking for trade making, waiver wire scouring, lineup tinkering fantasy machines.
If you’re up for the challenge of competing in a deep league then we invite you to step up and take on this challenge.
Invites will be sent first come, first serve based on when e-mails come in to me. If after 24 hours the invite has not been accepted I will have to move on to the next person on the list. Read more
