  1. Matt says:

    Couple of questions/issues:

2nd half of Championship Series, have a 48pt lead going into week 17.

First is RB. I have Gurley, McKinnon, Gio Bernard, and Alex Collins. Alternatively, I could pick up Bilal Powell, Malcolm Brown, or Branden Oliver (if Gordon is out) off of waivers. Gurley isn’t gonna play enough or at all to be worth a start, so my thought was start Bernard (assuming Mixon is out) and Collins, thoughts?

Second is WR. I have Michael Thomas, Hopkins, Thielen, Martavis Bryant, Keelan Cole, Emmanuel Sanders, & Robby Anderson. Ginn Jr. is available on waivers too. Hopkins apparently had a calf issue and is now doubtful. Thomas has a hamstring issue, is questionable, and since they have at least clinched a playoff spot they might limit his snaps. My thought is start Thielen, Cole, Thomas (swap in Bryant or Ginn Jr. depending on Thomas’s status), thoughts?

And finally Flex. I have the above leftovers to choose from and I need 2. Right now my thought is McKinnon and Bryant, thoughts?

    • RB – I’d 100% be adding Powell, especially with Forte out, and use him along with Collins

WR – Looks about right, if you want to avoid the risks

FLEX – I don’t love any of the options, but I’d obviously use Thomas/Hopkins depending on the news for them this AM

  2. Fred says:

Looking to close out a championship round (std scoring). Looking for recommendations for
    RB (2)
    WR (2)
    Flex (1)

    Options are:
RB – Fournette, Collins, Gio, Mike Davis, and gillislee.
WR – Evans, Marvin Jones, marquis goodwin, martavius bryant, and Josh Gordon.

I think most are playing this week but I have some concern that Fournette could only play a half or 3 quarters.

Finally, TE … Olsen or clay. Clay seems more dependable but Olsen a higher upside. Thoughts?

  3. Billy says:

    Hey Prof,
Absolutely love this site. Thanks again for all the great advice!
Thought I’d run these questions by you for std scoring.
No Gurley this week and other current RBs are A. Collins, J. McKinnon, & K. Drake.
My WRs are K. Allen, AJ Green, JuJu (possibly no Big Ben), & T.Y. Hilton.
I need 2 RB, 2 WR, and a Flex. Thoughts?
As always, I appreciate the feedback!

  4. Ray says:

Hi Prof, I’m in the championship game in Week 17 for my 12-team, standard league. Antonio Brown and Todd Gurley carried me this far (as well as Deshaun Watson while I had him before he went down for the season), but roster pickings are pretty slim now. Help would be appreciated versus a fine team whose starters are healthy and, well, starting …

QB: Bortles, Foles (I’m starting Bortles and hoping he plays a while)
    K: Forbath
    DST: Seattle

So these choices for 2 WR, 2 RB, 1 TE, and 1 Flex:

    TE: Greg Olsen, Delanie Walker

RB: Leonard Fournette, Peyton Barber, Wayne Gallman, Tion Green (and Todd Gurley, because insidiously still considers him “undroppable” even though they also have him as not playing)

WR: Adam Thielen, Keelan Cole, Devin Funchess, Josh Gordon

Desperate times, while hoping to complete my regular season championship with a postseason title. Thank you, sir!

  5. Joe Johannsen says:

should I play Dion Lewis or Devonta Freeman in a TD only league?

Thank you for a great season
