We looked at Buy Low candidates to target and Buy Low Candidates to avoid. On the flip side, here is a look at some players that are off to hot starts that you should move while they are at their peak.
Carson Palmer, QB, Cincinnati Bengals: Palmer is flying high after dropping 371 yards and a pair of scores on the Browns. He still has two games against the Steelers and a tilt with the Jets coming up. He has topped 260 yards just four of his last 18 starts with eight games under 200 yards during that span.
LaDainian Tomlinson, RB, New York Jets: While I believe that LT is one of the best stories of the young season, I can’t help but worry that his 31 year old body will break down at some point. With Shonn Greene showing signs of life last week, it wouldn’t be a stretch to this turning into a full-blown RBBC.
Peyton Hillis, Cleveland Browns: Hillis has been an absolute beast, but will surpass his career high in carries this week. He only had one game of 20+ carries before this year, and has hit that mark in back-to-back weeks. Eventually Jerome Harrison is going to share the load.
Austin Collie, Indianapolis Colts: Even if Collie hangs onto the starter gig when Pierre Garcon returns, there still will be an extra mouth to feed. If the right offer comes along don’t be afraid to deal the top scoring WR.
Brandon Lloyd, Denver Broncos: Lloyd is second behind only Reggie Wayne with 454 receiving yards. With a WR corps that goes four deep (Lloyd, Royal, Thomas, Gaffney) and Knowshon Moreno on the mend, keep your ears open to offers.
Braylon Edwards, New York Jets: With Santonio Holmes back from his suspension there will be fewer balls to go around. Throw in an emerging TE in Dustin Keller and a solid ground game, Braylon is primed for a bit of a fall.
Marcedes Lewis, Jacksonville Jaguars: Marcedes is the seventh ranked fantasy TE now. With staples like Tony Gonzalez , Brent Celek, and Jason Witten off to slow starts, why not try to make Marcedes’ hot start pay dividends.
