Thoughts:

• You really could go either way with Jimmy Graham or Jason Witten at the top of these rankings this week.  The difference for me was Witten’s lack of targets in Week 6 (he was targeted just 4 times), which means a little bit less opportunity.  Graham has been targeted early and often all season long.
• Brandon Pettigrew has been solid all year long, with 34 receptions for 321 yards and 2 TD.  Just to make things more impressive, his touchdowns have come in each of the past two weeks.  He’s developed into an easy must use option in all formats.
• Finally, Dallas Clark showed a little bit of the upside we all know he has in Week 6.  He was targeted 7 times, picking up 6 receptions for 53 yards and 1 TD.  It’s hard to get overly excited off of one week, so he should remain a low-end option in all formats.
• Kellen Winslow is the fourth most targeted tight end thus far this season, with 46 targets (he had 10 targets in Week 6).  Of course, targets are only half the battle as he’s managed just 27 receptions for 257 yards and 0 TD.  The matchup with the Bears is a positive one making him viable, but he’s not a top option.
• Will Antonio Gates return to the lineup this week?  That’s what it looks like, at least for now.  He’ll be a good play if he’s on the field, even against the Jets.
• Jared Cook had been picking up steam prior to the Titans bye week, with 6 receptions for 152 yards and 1 TD over two games (on 15 targets).  He’s definitely an option to keep an eye on, especially with Kenny Britt out for the year.
• Could Viasnthe Shiancoe be the safety valve for rookie quarterback Christian Ponder?  There’s certainly a good chance of it, making him an intriguing option for those in deeper formats.
