Let’s take a look at how all the defenses stack up for Week 14:
- Baltimore Ravens – vs. Indianapolis
- New York Jets – vs. Kansas City
- San Francisco 49ers – at Arizona
- Pittsburgh Steelers – vs. Cleveland
- New England Patriots – at Washington
- Denver Broncos – vs. Chicago
- Seattle Seahawks – vs. St. Louis
- Chicago Bears – at Denver
- Houston Texans – at Cincinnati
- Detroit Lions – vs. Minnesota
- Green Bay Packers – vs. Oakland
- St. Louis Rams – at Seattle
- Dallas Cowboys – vs. New York Giants
- Arizona Cardinals – vs. San Francisco
- Cincinnati Bengals – vs. Houston
Thoughts:
- I know that the Pittsburgh Steelers have not been as good as expected thus far in 2011, but it’s hard not to like them this week against the Cleveland Browns (scoring 14.6 points per game). Coming off a dominant game against the Cincinnati Bengals (7 points allowed, 3 sacks, 1 interceptions) they should excel again.
- The Chicago Bears are now without their starting quarterback and starting running back. Things could get rather ugly in a hurry. Taking on a Denver defense that has been playing better in recent weeks (66 points allowed, 13 sacks, 2 TD over the past four weeks), they could be in trouble. Consider the Broncos a good play in all formats.
