Thoughts:
- Jermichael Finley laid a complete egg in Week 14, picking up 0 receptions on only 1 target. Does anyone really expect that to continue for another week? He still has 42 receptions for 600 yards and 6 TD and you have to think the Packers are going to make a concerted effort to get him more involved. Do not downgrade him off of last week’s terrible showing.
- While Owen Daniels hasn’t scored since Week 4, he was significantly more active in the offense in Week 14. He had 7 receptions for 100 yards and should remain a major cog in the offense without Andre Johnson. In Week 14 Tony Gonzalez torched the Panthers for 7 receptions and 82 yards, so consider Daniels a good play as a TE1.
- Vernon Davis was once again terrible, picking up 1 reception for 32 yards. He’s now had 47 yards or less in 11 times this season and has been above 67 yards just once. Over his past three games he has 102 yards and 0 TD. His upside keeps him as a borderline TE1, but it is impossible to trust him at this point.
