State of the Professor Address – Please Read

First I wanted to apologize for the lack of posts the past few days. This is the first time in the nearly 12 years that Rotoprofessor has been around that it’s happen and I truly apologize.

Needless to say, 2020 has been a challenging year for all of us. Managing my real life, while maintaining Rotoprofessor, has been extremely difficult for much of the year but has become impossible as of late. Whether it’s family, work or just day-to-day life, there are only 24 hours in a day.

For now I’m anticipating taking the rest of 2020 away to regroup and refresh (though that doesn’t mean I won’t be motivated to write in the interim), with things kicking back up around January 4, 2021. I truly appreciate all of the support of the past 12 years and look forward to continuing to provide quality contact moving forward.

I hope everyone is staying safe and enjoying the holidays! Thanks again and please keep checking back for more updates!

  1. RP – I hear you and we all had to deal with our own challenges in 2020. I want to Thank you for the years of support you have provided me in my Fantasy obsession. Be well and safe and I wish you all the best in the upcoming year. Happy New Year.!

  2. I truly appreciate the time you take to answer mine and everyones question. I’m sure you live a busy life! Thank you for the amazing content and hope you are safe and well professor!

  3. Thank you RP for all your work this year under these unprecedented circumstances.

Recharge and stay safe. Hoping 2021 will be a better year. Happy New Year!

  4. Take care of you and your family first man. Been following you since 2011 I believe. Thanks for the many years of advice and information. Have a happy new year.

  5. Thanks for the help this year Professor. You mentored me enough that I was still able to pull off my championship this past weekend. Look forward to hearing from you come baseball time. Take care.

  6. Hello Professor,

Just a note to say missing you and your content big time. Hope things are getting better and we will hear from you soon.

    Be well

  7. Hope all is well with you and your family. Im sorry to have to ask but I have a best ball draft next in 3 weeks so just checking to see if your 2021 season analysis will be available this year. I’ve been a subscriber for several years and your projections are by far the best. Would hate to have to look for something else. Again, hope all is well and stay safe.

  8. RP:

Sorry to see this prolonged absence. Most importantly, I hope all is well with you and your family.

Having read your work daily for easily 10 years, I know you are an incredibly hard worker and arguably the best value/$cost annual preseason analysis out there. While its starting to feel like there may be more to this absence, for your sake (and ours), I am hoping that your about to unveil a new improved annual analysis or website presentation or who knows. (Nevertheless, I’m just as hopeful you’re taking a long, well-deserved hiatus somewhere warm. Your current work and reports don’t really need upgrading).

    Kind Regards,

    BBHHI (Formerly known as BBBoston)

  9. Hi Professor,
I hope all is well, leaving a note to say missing you plus your content. I hope things are getting better after the crazy 2020 year and start of 2021. We’re all human and I hope nothing has knocked you down. At what point do we worry about the person? Hoping for the best recovery for you and your family!

    Kind regards,

  10. Hey Professor, just letting you know that we all are hoping the best for you and your family.
I’ve been following you religiously since 2011 (The first year I started playing in keeper leagues).
I must say I really miss your content. And you’re daily insight. Definitely gave me something to look forward to every morning.
I hope peace finds you and you’re able to get back to doing what you love. Just a little nod from you to all of us would go a long way.
I check in almost every morning to see if you’re back. We all miss ya.
