Thoughts:

  • Consistency in terms of pass catches and yards is huge, but consistency in finding the end zone is something different all together. A.J. Brown is proving to be one of the most consistent touchdown machines in the league in just his second year. Brown caught his eighth TD pass of the season this past Sunday and has found the end zone in seven of his nine games. He isn’t going to lead the league in catches or yards most likely, but the rate at which he catches TD makes him a WR1 almost every week.
  • The Quarterback play of the Chicago Bears is a hindrance to Allen Robinson’s production, and yet he’s still Top 20 in catches, yards and TD. The targets aren’t always on point, but he is getting enough that he is able to turn it into solid fantasy production. This week Robinson gets a second crack at the Detroit Lions secondary that seems to be getting worse as the season goes along. This has all the makings of a big week.
  • Injuries are robbing us of watching the full potential of Deebo Samuel, but the glimpses we have been able to get are so very tantalizing. He returned after another month of missed games this past Sunday and caught 11 passes for 133 yards in a matchup that isn’t really ideal with the Rams. The 49ers will also have Brandon Aiyuk back this week it would seem, and while I like Samuel more they should only benefit from each other playing together.
  • I am not prepared to say my fears about the decline of Tee Higgins after losing Joe Burrow have been calmed completely, but they are a little better now. Higgins caught five passes and one of them a TD for the Bengals last week with Brandon Allen under center. It was clear on Sunday the Bengals are going to ease Allen into the role with short passes and dump offs, but Higgins is built for these short/intermediate routes and he’s a great red zone target for an inexperienced QB. My expectations are tempered, but not ruined.
  • You aren’t going to hear me claim that T.Y. Hilton has made his triumphant return, but Sunday was a very welcome sign of life. Going into Sunday he had not hit double digits in scoring in non-PPR leagues this season, but he managed it Sunday against the Titans, also finding the endzone for the first time. Hilton and Phillip Rivers have not been connecting well, and Hilton is second fiddle to Michael Pittman Jr. right now, but he’s back on the radar. I wouldn’t be thrilled about it, but I wouldn’t dread putting him in my flex this week either.

  1. Hola roto , estos son mis WR . T Hill , AJ Brown , J. Jefferson y Julio Jones . En caso que si juegue Julio .. a alguien tendría que dejar en el banco .. a quien me sugieres descuerdo a Sus enfrentamientos ya que los 4 tiene. Potencial

  2. 14 team, half PPR

RB1&2 are Nick Chubb, Kareem Hunt. WR1&2 are DeAndre Hopkins and stefon diggs

Who would you flex ofJD mckissick, salvin allmed, Gus Edwards, Jacobi Myers and Alen lazard… Or free agents James White, TY Hilton, Denzel Mims, Henry Ruggs?

  3. So I need a win this week. I’m favored in the matchup with like a 60% chance of winning this week. I’m starting Corey Davis in my flex2 spot, I have Allan Lazard on my bench. Davante Adams is my WR1 and Tonyan is my TE. Do you think starting Lazard over Davis would be good insurance in case Tonyan and Adams don’t catch a TD? Or start Davis because he’s the higher rated player?
